Utah Part 3 - Simons

Wednesday night we headed up to spend the rest of the week with the Simons clan.  It was so good to see mom and Amy and Dad and catch up!  Amy and I stayed up WAY too late catching up.  It's okay sleep is overrated anyways, and it was much needed sister time!

The next day we hung out around the house for a bit!  Eric and I had some fun taking pictuers while we got ready.

we all hung out and then ran some errands. Amy and I went and got some pedicures and had more sister time!

Afterwards we got to go see our Grandma and Grandpa Johnson and say hello.  It was so good to see them!  We picked up our cousin Laura too for the weekend!  It was fun to see her and catch up.

That night we all got to go to dinner at a place in Heber.  It was so nice to just be there and be able to go to dinner or hang out or run errands or do whatever we wanted.  We just missed being with family and it was nice to be around them no matter what we were doing!

Amy had a lot of fun photo bombing my phone.any.chance.she.could.

Friday we were able to go over and help Anna work on her classroom.  It was so fun to see all the stuff she has done, and all the cute things she has planned for her class.  I'm so glad we were able to come and help and I'm glad I could feel apart of that.  I'm so excited for her to start teaching and I know she is going to be amazing.

That night the whole family went out to dinner and then they took us to the Sweet Tooth Fairy...oh.my.heck can you say delicious?  We headed back up to Midway for batchi ball fun and other games!  We had a Simons family reunion the next day, so all the kids headed to walmart to get shirts to decorate...well once we got to Walmart that idea fizzled, so we really just spent an hour in Walmart wondering around.  It was still fun though!

Saturday we had the Simons family reunion up the canyon at Erics Uncle and Aunts house. It was fun to see a bunch of people that we haven't seen in a long time!

We had Sunday to finish up any last minute things, and we had the chance to run back to my parents house during the afternoon. It was so great to see everyone one last time, and have a little extra time to do a few things that we missed out on earlier in the week.  That night Mom made an excellent roast dinner just for Eric ;) and then we got to skype with some family.  I made frozen hot chocolate for dessert and we all hung out and enjoyed the evening.

We said good bye to Michael and Anna that night since we were leaving early in the morning.

Monday morning we headed out and drove straight through all day long.  We made it home in one piece late that night and got right back to reality the next day.  It was such an awesome trip, and I'm so glad we were able to go be with our families.
