Once upon a time, in April of 2010 I headed to a mix and mingle for the upcoming institute council members at UVU. I thought I would go and make great new friendships that would help me as I was venturing back into college after a semester off. Little did I know I would meet my future husband!
After that initial meeting we connected on facebook and thus the relationship began. He picked me up on a Friday night, we ate some Costa Vida, did some bowling, watched some Sherlock Holmes, and the rest is history.
After that night it was like we saw each other every waking moment we could. Except for a short stint that summer where I was traveling and he was doing EFY, we succeeded in seeing each other every day!
We figured if we liked each other that much then hey why not get married?
Eric finally popped the question in October and we started planning our wedding. We were married in December of 2010
Now life has moved us to Texas for a whole new set of adventures.
Eric is currently working at chevron so who knows where we will end up in the future.
I'm secretly trying to plot out how I can do what I love and still make money. Ha Ha I'll be returning to school soon and hopefully can figure out what I'm going to be when I grow up. I constantly battle myself between being practical and doing what I love. This blog is a way for me to document my life for my love ones that live far away, for me to "journal" since I'm not very good at it right now, and to have an outlet for my craftaholic, make believe chef, and wanna be party planner within.
We would love to start a family, but about a year ago I found out I had PCOS. Now we are working through this and hopefully will be parents one day.
Join us and follow our life as we have our ups and downs. I will share my experiences of life, Texas, crafting, planning parties, meal and my newest adventure into a healthier lifestyle to help battle my PCOS.
